An elderly man suffered minor head injuries after overturning his automatic car outside the Co-operative food store in Kingfisher Drive, Wesbury, today.
He was turning around in the car park when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his Vauxhall and accelerated into concrete bollards at the front of the store.
A fire crew from Warminster and a crew from Trowbridge were called at 12.30pm to attend, along with a support unit from Trowbridge, police and ambulance.
After being assessed by paramedics, fire crews helped him out of the vehicle via the boot.
He sustained cuts to the head. No one else was involved.
