A special ceremony celebrating the opening of a new Children’s Hospice South West shop in Trowbridge was held last Thursday.
The shop, based in Silver Street, was officially opened by Children’s Hospice South West co-founder and chief executive Eddie Farwell, joined by staff and Mayor of Trowbridge Glyn Bridges.
The charity provides palliative, respite, end-of-life and bereavement care for life-limited children and their families in South West England.
Shop manager Beverley Stewart said: “It’s been great so far and the reception we have had from Trowbridge has been really good.
“Several people were donating stuff to us before we even opened. We welcome all donations to the shop, with every bag of stock that is donated making a real difference.” Contact 01271 378796.
