Wiltshire Police say Jessica Horton, 14, from Swindon has been found safe and well after a major media appeal.
Police had appealed for information after she was last seen at her school shortly before 9am yesterday.
It is understood that her family moved to Blunsdon in the last year.
A police spokesman said this afternoon: "Jessica was found in Newbury a short time ago and is safe and well.
"We would like to thank everyone who assisted and shared our appeals for information."
