Man accused of sex abuse
An 80-year-old man who is accused of sexually abusing two children more than a decade apart is to face trial.
Terrence Bembridge denies molesting a boy under the age of 16 in Calne between 1968 and June 1970.
The pensioner, of Leslie Rise, Lower Westwood, Bradford on Avon, also denied sex offences against a girl who was under the age of 14 between October 1985 and 1989.
Bembridge, pleaded not guilty to five counts of indecent assault and three of gross indecency with a child at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to a trial date to be fixed and released him on bail until then.
