Three mums who have diasabled children are holding their annual Christmas Cracker fundraiser tomorrow in Bradford on Avon.
A jive, rock and roll band will play music at St Margaret’s Hall and all the proceeds from this party will be donated to Ups and Downs South West and Children’s Hospices South West.
Emma Evans and Katie Pearson both have children with Down’s Syndrome and said the support they receive from Ups and Downs South West offers them “positive inspiration, encouragement, practical advice and a valuable support network”.
Laura Hobbs’ daughter Elodie, three, has 1p36 deletion syndrome needing round-the-clock care.
Mrs Hobbs said: “The Children’s Hospices South West is our lifeline – it’s our chance to relax for a few days knowing that Elodie has the care and support she needs.”
The party starts at 8pm and tickets cost £15 and can be bought by emailing Emma Evans at evans_emma@ live.co.uk.
