Pupils from Devizes School were on target for success when they tried a new sport.
A total of eight pupils took part in the final of a New Age Kurling contest, which involves rules similar to curling but without the need for ice.
Devizes took on 23 other teams from across the area and its highest placed team of Daniella Askey and Aaron Owen-Spackman finished in sixth place.
PE teacher Oliver Clements praised the pupils for their skill and determination. New Age Kurling, which is supported by the Paralympic Association, is being played by more and more schools and clubs as it does not need a lot of space and can easily be played by both able and disabled youngsters.
