Warminster Garrison has given £2,400 to six local charities.
The money was raised on bonfire night last year, where more than 4,000 people attended the evening of fun at the Land Warfare Centre, Warminster.
Warminster Royal British Legion, Wiltshire Air Ambulance, the Imperial Charity, Tedworth House Recovery Centre, Warminster Guides and Mencap all received £400 from Brigadier Tim Hymes and Sergeant Major Adam Diver.
Brigadier Hymes said: “The annual bonfire is a really great way of providing a link between the garrison and the community and this money is a way to give back to some of the fantastic local charities that are around in Warminster.”
