Meca has a mega-mix of entertainment this April with fun nights including roller disco, music, beer festival and comedy.

Skating into spring on April 3 is a roller disco with a family session from 6pm to 9pm, and an over-18s session from 9.30pm to 12.30am. The family session proves really popular and the last two have been sold out, so organisers are advising early booking. Tickets are £5.50 and £2 for skate hire.

On April 4 it’s boogie night with a trip back to the funky days of Northern Soul and Motown music. The mood changes to an alpine bar in the heart of Germany with an Oompah band playing on April 18. Madchens in traditional costume will be serving up a variety of German beers and food at the Beerfest.

Organiser Philip Marsh said: “It is an event rather than just a beer fest and a regular feature in the social life of Swindon. This is our third year in the town and we are looking forward to our return.”

There will also be a DJ playing dance music to round off the evening. Tickets are £12 online or £15 on the door. For more details visit www.beerfestuk.com.

Finally Chuckles Comedy Club will be having a laugh at Meca on April 30. For more details call 01793 251111.
