A 45-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after graffiti was found sprayed on a wall in a Westbury park at the weekend.

The arrest for causing criminal damage occurred at Westbury town park, known locally as Grassacres Park, on Eden Vale Road on Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

Police seized eight cans of spray paint along with cardboard stencils after finding the word ‘Mouse’ sprayed on a wall behind the basketball courts.

They said the graffiti was clearly visible and covered the entire wall.

When they searched the man they also arrested him for being in possession of a small amount of cannabis.

The man is currently on bail while police continue their investigation.
