TROWBRIDGE WANDERERS Under 11’s have been presented with a new football kit by Warminster company RACS Group.

The 13 outfield kits and one goalkeeping kit were presented last week at the companies head office in the Three Horseshoes Walk.

Founded in 2007 by Terry and Sarah Hillier, the payroll provider employs more than 75 staff at its head office and also has offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.

Steve Rose, Trowbridge Wanderers Under 11s coach, said: “The kids love the kit and we’ve already had five new players who want to join us because of it.

“We often struggle to get new kits and sponsors and have to raise money through car washes and stuff like that so to get this kit is great.

“We had our old kit for two seasons and most of the kids have grown out of it, but hopefully this will last at least two years and then we can hand it down to younger age groups.

“The kit is a good quality standard and next year I’m trying to get the lads some trackie tops to wear.”

The Under 11s currently train at Lambrok playing fields in Trowbridge and are due to go on a tour down to Camber Sands, Kent, later this year.

Mr Rose added: “The company have a fourteenth strip that they’ve kept and have hung up in the boardroom so when we go on the tour I want to get a big picture of the kids done so they can put that alongside.”
