AN AWARD-WINNING business is expanding into Swindon.
Little Pickles Markets offer people the chance to sell their unwanted baby goods at organised sales and have been congratulated by ex-Dragon, Theo Paphitis, as a winner of his Small Business Sunday Award.
Now they will bring a sale to Swindon’s Nova Hreod Academy in September.
Meanwhile, Jessamine Hislop-Newton, owner and founder of Little Pickles Markets, has also been announced as a finalist in the Mumandworking 2015 awards, in the Most Inspiring Business Parent category.
The first market in Swindon will take place at the Nova Hreod Academy on Sunday, September 6 from 2pm until 3.30pm.
And a spokesman for the firm said families would also be able to host their own stalls at the event. Hiring a table costs from just £10 and stallholders will be able to keep all their profits.
“Items normally on sale range from pushchairs, nursery furniture, toys, books, clothes and much more,” he said.
“Little Pickles Markets are all held within indoor venues, that are pushchair and wheelchair friendly and that have accessible parking.
“They only charge a minimal entry fee of £1 an adult, children are admitted free and the first 50 buyers will also receive a free goodie bag.”
