A 10-year-old boy was assaulted at a Swindon skate park and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened just before 2pm on Thursday at the skate park near Morrisons in Haydon Wick.
One youth, aged about 15, who was in a group of four, punched the victim to the face causing a cut nose and bruising to his eye. He also broke the victim's glasses.
The youth is described as white with short brown hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt.
The group had bikes and rode off past Morrisons, towards Haydon Court. It is believed one of the boys in the group was wearing a red jumper.
PC Kevin Payne said: "This was a cowardly attack as the offender, with the backing of a group, struck an individual who was much smaller and younger than himself.
"The assault was unprovoked and the victim sustained an injury as a result. Fortunately, he did not require hospital treatment but was left very upset.
"We would like to speak with anyone who was in the Haydon Wick area around the time of the incident and anyone who recalls a group matching the description in the skate park or nearby."
Anyone with information should call PC Payne at Gablecross on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
