MONEY is flooding in for a sponsored bike ride in memory of three-year-old Jacob Andrews by regulars of the Dolphin pub in Devizes.

Graham Enderby, 53, better known as Stretch, and firefighter Paul Keenan, 48, known as PK, will cycle from Ringwood in Hampshire back to Devizes on October 10.

They will stop a mile before the finish to change into Batman and Robin costumes and then board a tandem.

They will be accompanied on the route by taxi driver Dave Malloy and collectors with buckets.

Members of Devizes Sweet Sensations Scooter Club will also act as outriders for the last mile. They should arrive back in Devizes at about 5pm.

All money raised will go to Devizes Opportunity Centre in memory of Jacob from West Lavington who died on August 28.

Pub landlord Billy Costello thanked Devizes fancy dress shop Face Envy for providing the costumes free of charge.

He said: "The support has been fantastic. We have collected more than £800 just at the Dolphin and there is a lot more from other pubs, clubs and shops."

Anyone who wants to sponsor the ride should ring the pub on (01380) 698362.
