WILTSHIRE Air Ambulance has recently been given a £100 donation from Devizes technology company Cardwave.
The firm gives cash to a charity each month, and September’s choice was made by Mark Danek, the technical manager, who said: “The air ambulance is one of those fabulous resources that, when needed, is literally a lifesaver.
"I hope never to get a ride in it but it’s a comfort to know it is there.”
Cardwave is a globally recognised company specialising in flash memory technology.
They work with customers of all sizes across the world, providing specialist expertise to organisations who need to secure and distribute their data on removable and embedded media.
In January 2015 they started operating a dedicated air ambulance, which means they must raise £2.5m a year.
