POP star Maureen Nolan, from the Nolan Sisters, will visit Everybody Sing, in Belmont Crescent, to deliver two vocal masterclasses next month.

The patron of the school will visit on November 15, leading one masterclass from 10am to 1pm for five to 10-year-olds and the other from 2pm to 7pm for children aged 11 and over and adults A spokesman for Everybody Sing said: “These workshops will be a fabulous way to learn how to use your voice in the best way, learn all about posture, breath control, fun vocal tips and techniques and performance advice.There will be lots of group work and plenty of singing to put techniques into practice.

“There will be an open session at the end, if anyone would like to get up and perform a song and be given advice by Sophie, who is currently training to become a Master of Estill - a programme for developing vocal skills - and our patron Maureen Nolan.”

Workshops costs £12 for the junior session and £21 for the senior session.
