COFFEE Republic entrepreneur Sahar Hashemi OBE has been announced as a speaker at the upcoming Women in Business conference at Bowood.

Ms Hashemi is one of UK’s most inspirational female entrepreneurs and a powerful speaker.

At the March 8 conference, organised by the Enterprise Network to celebrate International Women’s Day 2016, she will share her stories on becoming the founder of UK coffee chain, Coffee Republic, which she and her brother grew to a £30m turnover before exiting in 2001.

She also founded confectionery brand Skinny Candy, which she sold in 2007.
