A MELKSHAM man who allegedly slashed the neck of a pub customer with a glass has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Steven Robins, 29, of Berryfield Park, was charged following an incident at the West End Inn last Wednesday night around 11.15pm, in which a 21-year-old man, also from Melksham, suffered a gash to his neck requiring 13 stitches.
Robins was remanded in custody and was due to appear at North Wiltshire Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday Mar 31) to faces charges of GBH and causing criminal damage to a door in the pub.
Another 22-year-old man from Melksham was charged with affray after the incident.
