OVER the weekend members of Marlborough and District Embroiderers Guild held a successful four day exhibition at Kennet Valley Hall, Lockeridge, to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
Visitors came from far and wide to enjoy over 100 exhibits created by the members - one even came from Jersey. Before the event the chairman had challenged members to create a red 10 inch square using any technique they liked, and the results were in pride of place on the stage for all to enjoy.
Marlborough & District Embroiderers Guild meet on the first Monday of the month in the Kennet Valley Hall, Lockeridge: for more information on their meetings contact secretary Susanne Stedman on 01672 861658 or visit www.marlboroughembroiderers.org
