POLICE are investigating reports of a fight involving a large group of people in Toothill.

Officers were called to Kirkstall Close on Monday at around 7pm following a report of a brawl and that one of the men had a weapon on him.

During the search there was a large police presence as well as a helicopter.

A police spokesman said: “We got a call to an altercation between a group of men just after 7pm on Monday.

“An extensive search of the area was made by officers but the group had dispersed.

“Our enquiries are continuing into this incident.”
