Devizes International Street Festival recovered well from an afternoon of rain yesterday evening as performers entertained crowds on the Green.

As the clouds cleared, Stefano Di Renzo entertained with his slackwire act, followed by a mesmerising performance from Le Cirque du Platzak, which included daring displays of juggling with fire, a temperamental aerialist and much vegetable throwing from the crowd.

The festival continues today on the Green and in the Market Place with food and drinks, licensed bars, and crafts available from festival stalls.

Acts will include 15ft6 who are four acrobats who will perform Dynamite And Poetry which is said to be an explosive performance that will literally make you jump out of your seat. They blow up the stage with a spectacle of Russian bar, teeter board and Chinese pole.

Also performing will be Circus Fergus, an interactive juggling show, offbeat double act Ramshacklicious, Stopgap Dance Company and the Hackney Colliery Band.
