MARKET Street in Bradford on Avon will be closed for three weeks in October to secure a decaying wall.
The road will be closed from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Masons Lane for 24 hours a day from October 9-30.
Foundation Piling Ltd will carry out the work at the top of the street to anchor the whole wall, to stop it falling down, and strengthen its foundations.
The alternative route is from Masons Lane, to Mount Pleasant, along New Road, to Woolley Street and down Silver Street.
This announcement comes just a few weeks after Holt Road was reopened, following a near four-month long road closure as part of a project to build a roundabout.
