DRIVERS are facing a second day of traffic chaos in Trowbridge this morning as the A361 between Hilperton and Semington remains closed.
Long queues have been building up through Staverton and Hilperton as well as Canal Road as drivers heading further afield in the county look for an alternative route.
The road, between Trowbridge Rugby Club and Semington, will be closed from 7am-7pm daily to allow for resurfacing work to be carried out.
Wiltshire Council's official diversion route takes motorists to Yarnbrook to join the A363 which has been put in place to accommodate HGV lorries.
However, drivers can also reach Trowbridge by leaving the A350 at Stoney Gutter or West Ashton.
