AFTER years of hard work and determination, a woman from a Calne-based funeral directors has been awarded her Diploma in the profession.
Jennifer Law from funeral directors E Wootten and Son, who has worked for the company for four years, finally achieved her Diploma in Funeral Directing on Friday, October 14 after working hard with her tutor to gain the necessary skills.
Ms Law said: "I would like to thank Ian Hanks, area manager and Bruce Warden funeral manager and trainer for all their support."
The newly qualified director, who also achieved her Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration two years ago while working for Lodge Brothers, completely self funded her studies.
The staff at E Wootten and Son, who have been arranging and conducting funerals for 90 years and provide a 24-hour service, are looking forward to working with Ms Law in her new professional capacity.
