A QUAD bike worth around £11,000 and a bicycle were stolen from a farm in Sherrington, near Codford.

The theft happened sometime between 6pm on Saturday, November 26 and 5am on Sunday, November 27 and police are appealing to anyone who might have information.

The items were taken from a courtyard area at Sherrington Dairy Farm where the orange Kubota RTV900 quad bike was chained and padlocked.

PC Charly Chilton said: “It is believed this quad bike was lifted rather than driven from the scene so it is likely that a vehicle was used to transport it away.

“The owner of the quad bike only purchased it back in March and is desperate for it to be returned.

“We’d like to hear from anyone with information on the incident – did you see any suspicious activity in the area between 6pm on 26 November and 5am on 27 November? We’d like to hear from you.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
