THE A350 between the West Ashton traffic lights and Yarnbrook roundabout has been closed due to a car crash involving a Volkswagen Golf and a Mercedes.
A man has been flown to Southmead Hospital by Wiltshire Air Ambulance after sustaining a head injury.
Two rapid response cars and an ambulance also attended.
Police received the call at 3.15pm and are advising drivers to seek alternative routes.
