FIRST City Nursing & Care, which has offices in Swindon, Chippenham and Salisbury, is on the hunt for 80 healthcare assistants, senior healthcare assistants and registered nurses, thanks to starting 2017 with a raft of new contracts to provide staff to care homes across Wiltshire.

With an immediate demand for staff across the area including villages outside Swindon as well as further afield into Trowbridge, Devizes, and Chippenham, the company has just completed its busiest ever year and recently was rated good with outstanding for Well Led by the CQC.

Vacancies include roles for registered nurses, care staff and senior care staff with shifts available throughout Wiltshire. All staff receive quality, in-depth training at the start of their employment and throughout their career - a commitment recognised by the company’s Investors in People status.

David Trowbridge, of First City Nursing & Care, said: “This year has already started off at top speed and so we’re looking for quality nursing and care staff to join us.

"Our reputation for providing staff who go the extra mile to give quality care has helped us win a number of new contracts in the region and locally we will also be expanding our Swindon and Salisbury offices in the near future.

“We’re looking for all grades of registered nurses and experienced carers to start as soon as possible.”

Nurses joining First City Nursing will also benefit from a £200 welcome bonus and their NMC pin paid for annually, new employees will have their DBS check paid for as well as their uniform in March.
