TEACHER Aleksandra Young was waved off on a trip of a lifetime when she set out on a three week visit to Asia that will include a visit to a women's group supported by St Barnabas in Market Lavington, near Devizes.
She will go to Mati Nepal an organisation that supports women and children who have been exploited by finding them homes and giving rehabilitation.
Mrs Young will also complete a 21 day trek in Nepal. She said: "It has taken a year of training and we have a very busy schedule. During my journey there will be opportunities for me to video call the pupils and send them regular updates via my blog."
Her pupils are undertaking their own challenges through a school theme called Explorers.
