A THREE-MONTH-OLD baby is in critical condition after suffering life-threatening injuries.
Police were called to Thresher Drive on Saturday morning where a baby boy was found with serious injuries.
He was taken to the Great Western Hospital before being transferred to Bristol Royal Infirmary.
Wiltshire Police confirmed a 50-year-old local man had been arrested in relation to the incident and was released on conditional bail.
A spokesman said: "Police are continuing with their enquiries in order to ascertain how the baby sustained his injuries."
Police officers and forensic vans remained outside the property today.
