POLICE officers are appealing for the public's help in identifying a gang of three who robbed a man in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The victim, a 31-year-old Swindon man who has not been named, was near the entrance to Queen's Park shortly after midnight when he was approached by three people - two men and a woman.
He was punched to the floor and his backpack was stolen. He suffered cuts, bruises and a loose tooth in the incident.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information about this incident, to contact us on 101."
Information can also be provided anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
