Firefighters were forced to cut passengers from their cars in a crash on the A419 last night.

Two crews from Swindon and Stratton fire stations were called to the two-vehicle smash on the A419 southbound by the Commonhead Roundabout at 8.51pm on Friday night.

The crash is believed to have involved a Mercedes and a grey Hyundai i10. 

Three passengers were cut from their vehicles and were cared for by paramedics.
