TWO people were freed by firefighters today following two separate accidents on Salisbury Plain and between Devizes and Westbury.

In the first incident, crews from Pewsey and Andover were called out to extricate one person following a collision involving a mini-bus. They used one hose reel, a window punch and small tools.

The accident occurred at 7.19am in Cadley Road, Collingbourne Dulcis, about 10 miles south of Marlborough on Salisbury Plain.

In the second incident, a crew from Devizes freed a woman after she was trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision. The accident happened at 8.29am at Coulston Hollow, near Coulston.
