Wiltshire Police are appealing for a potential key witness to come forward following a stabbing in Swindon earlier this month.
A 19-year-old man was injured in the incident in the Mannington Recreation Ground on Sunday, August 6.
He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with non-life threatening injuries.
Detective Constable Alan Mills said: “We have information about a potential key witness who was in the park at 9.30pm - just before the victim was assaulted.
“This person was on a bike cycling towards the entrance on Morris Street.
“My message to that person is: we would like to speak to you as soon as possible - please come forward.
“We would also like to re-appeal to anyone who was on Paddington Drive and Morris Street around that time on that day to come forward.”
The victim has since been released from hospital and is said to be recovering well.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Swindon CID on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
