THE World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is off to a flying start in Wiltshire, with many businesses and organisations taking part in the event to raise money for Macmillan Support.

If you haven’t got your hands on any delicious cakes yet, fear not, as there are still some coffee mornings running through the afternoon today (September 29) and into the weekend.

Miles Morgan Travel in Malmesbury are serving tea, coffee and cake until 4pm, and Chippenham Sports Club have been selling sugary snacks since 11am.

This morning and earlier this week, other businesses also got involved raising some cash.

Staff at the Aster Group in Devizes raised £540 on Thursday (September 28), and today, Bevirs Solicitors in Calne also had a Cake Off.

On Wednesday, The Angel Hotel in Chippenham also held a coffee morning and cake off, judged by MP Michelle Donelan, Mayor Mary Norton, and Macmillan Cancer Support’s fundraising manager Steven Goodrick.
