THE youngest pupils at Devizes School put on their wellies to raise money for a farm charity in Africa.
The children chose wellies in a mixture of bright colours and some even had pictures of camper vans as they took to the school field as part of an introduction to geography lesson.
Last year pupils raised £1,300 for Farm Africa which works in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda to help farmers in poverty and this year they hope to raise even more.
All of those taking part walked at leas a mile around the field. A school spokesman for the school said: "Students are doing an amazing job of raising funds for charity and really enjoyed a lesson out of the classroom. Luckily for all the weather was kind.
"The global studies faculty has supported this particular charity by welly walking for the last three years. They also support Oxfam by water carrying during sports day in the summer."
