BRADFORD on Avon Museum’s Inaugural Autumn lecture by popular archaeologist and TV presenter, Julian Richards, proved a sell-out last Friday.

Tickets sold out prior to the event and almost 200 people filled St Margaret’s Hall, Bradford on Avon, to hear Mr Richards talk about Stonehenge.

His lecture ‘”Stonehenge: old rocks, new theories’ was sponsored and supported by local estate agents Cobb Farr.

This was the first of an annual Autumn lecture series organised by Bradford on Avon Museum Trustee Sophie Hawke.

She said: “Julian has proved to be a very popular speaker and he is keen to support Bradford on Museum. We are very grateful to him and all those who attended, for making this such a successful event.”

In addition to their Autumn lecture, Bradford on Avon Museum holds a monthly discussion group on the first Wednesday of each month.
