POLICE have released images of a number of distinctive guitars which were stolen during a burglary in Calne as they appeal for information.

The break-in took place between January 7 and January 15 at a house in Priestley Grove.

The burglar or burglars broke into the house by smashing a small window at the side of the house and did an untidy search of the house.

A number of guitars and music equipment were stolen, including a Black Gibson Les Paul, a Patrick James Eggle Etowah, and a Patrick Eggle Berlin Plus, and police have released images of these guitars.

PC Chloe Jenkins, from Wiltshire North Community Policing Team, said: "These guitars are very distinctive so we are appealing for the public's help in trying to trace them.

"Please could people look through these photographs and contact us if they have seen any o the items for sale, either online or in the local area.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anyone acting suspiciously in the Priestley Grove area during the time the burglary may have occurred."
