SWINDON Borough Council gritters are once again preparing to set off out on to the streets of the town this evening.
A spokesman for the council said the gritting team would be retracing their tracks around the town covering around 200 miles of roads as they re-treat the roads with salt.

The retreatment of the roads comes as the Met Office warns of temperatures down as low as -3 °C.
