Police are on the hunt for a man after reports of someone exposing themselves in a wooded area of Swindon.

The incident took place in Lawn Woods on March 20, after a woman was exposed to while she was walking through the area on her way to work.

Since then, there has been a lot of activity on social media, with one Facebook post being shared by over 500 people.

The message read: ‘To anyone who walks through Lawns Woods please don’t.

“I’ve just walked through there to come to work as I do most shifts.

‘I was called by an unknown male and turned around to witness him stood there with trousers and pants at his ankles.’

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police, said: “Police were called just after 5pm on Tuesday to reports of a man exposing himself in Lawn Woods.

“Officers attended and carried out an area search but were unable to locate him.

“The man is described as white, wearing a woolly hat and possibly black jogging bottoms.

“Anyone who saw a man matching this description in the area at the time is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.”

Police have issued a warning not to approach this man if you see him and to call the number above to report the incident.
