BRAD Hooper's injury-time penalty rescued a potentially crucial point for Swindon Supermarine as they drew 1-1 at Kidlington in Southern League West tonight.

Marine appeared destined for a damaging defeat in Oxfordshire after Conor McDonagh's header had given the hosts the lead early in the second half.

But Lee Spalding's men, held 2-2 by Salisbury in the league on Tuesday, clawed their way back into it to leave themselves in sixth - the final position - with two matches of the season remaining.

Marine go to Bishop's Cleeve on Saturday.
