COURT: District judge Simon Cooper issued a warrant for the arrest of Vincent Shuff with no bail.

The 34-year-old from Barton Road in Swindon is charged with stealing three DVDs from HMV worth a total of £70 on February 5, then stealing DVDs worth £57.99 from the same shop on February 13.

He was due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on Wednesday but didn't show up.

It was claimed that he was in hospital visiting a loved one but, as he'd given no evidence to prove this, the warrant was issued.
