A "much needed" deep clean of an Old Town toilet block has been welcomed by councillors.
South Swindon Parish Council has engaged a firm to deep clean the toilets in Town Gardens over two days later this month. It follows complaints about the state of the toilets, near the Old Town Bowl.
Nadine Watts, a ward and parish councillor (Lab), said on Facebook: “Looking forward to seeing the improvement.”
Parish councillor Nick Burns-Howell (Con) added: “I’m really pleased that the calls for a much needed deep clean of the Town Gardens loos is on the agenda.”
The toilets are expected to be shut on April 30 and May 1 for the clean.
