A man accused of robbing Subway three times has been sent for trial at Swindon Crown Court.

Sea Porter, who lives in Swindon but has no fixed address, is accused of robbing the Cirencester store of £334 on January 20, the Chippenham branch of £300 on January 22 and the Devizes branch of £2,500 the following day.

The 40-year-old is also charged with burgling Virgillo hairdressers in Swindon on February 6 and driving a car knowing it had been taken without consent, which was driven dangerously on Bibury Road, Gloucester before it was recovered.

He was remanded in custody to appear by video-link for a pre-trial hearing on Friday.
