COURT: A driver who was more than twice the legal alcohol limit when he was stopped on the A420 at South Marston has been banned from the roads for 22 months.
Joao Guimares, 28 , of Camelot Road, Oxford, had a level of 86 micrograms of alcohol in his breath when he was tested on February 25. The limit is 35. He admitted drink driving, using a car without insurance and having licence. Swindon magistrates ordered him to pay a total of £720 including £30 to victim services and £85 costs.
