A CELEBRATION was held at a Devizes café to mark a huge milestone in the life of Marion O'Brien who ten years ago was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Mrs O'Brien, 55, of Avon Road, Devizes is now 10 years free of cancer and a party was held to raise money for Pembroke ward at Salisbury District Hospital where she received her chemotherapy treatment.
He stepdaughter Alice O'Brien, 25, who runs Times Square hosted the event which raise £550.
She said: "The party was 70’s themed with a local dj who also donated his fee to the charity. We hope to hold another charity night of our popular butlers in the buff later in the year."
Mrs O'Brien, who works at Rowdeford School, Rowde, near Devizes, also has a daughter Imogen Spurrell, 21, who is studying at Cardiff university.
Alice took over the café in the Market Place two years ago with friends Kim Feltham-Morley and Emma Soellner and re-named it Times Square. Last year a Butlers In The Buff party held to celebrate its first anniversary raised money for Breast Cancer Care.
