ASPIRING artists and designers at Wiltshire College were delighted to get a chance to display their work at an exhibition in Trowbridge Town Hall.
Art and design students opened their Landscaping and Environment exhibition in the venue’s downstairs cells on Wednesday.
The 34 teenagers have been working away on this project, which is in collaboration with Trowbridge in Bloom, since September and for all of them, this was a great experience.
Art and design level 3 student, Andreea Danciu, said: “I want to to be a comic book artist or cartoonist so this is a great way for us to get a taste of what it feels like to showcase your work.
“My acrylics piece has lemons in the background and a central one wearing a sombrero and shaking a maraca.”
Contemporary fashion level 3 student, Jody Hughes, added: “I have a 2D and a 3D piece on display here. It is all very exciting. There is a lot of great talent on these walls.
“We have worked on this for a while and I hope people like what we’ve done.”
The exhibition runs until June 6.
