Fairfield Farm College in Dilton Marsh raised £3000 to go towards their new indoor horse arena project when they held a county fair and family fun day.

Around 400 people joined staff and students in their fundraising efforts where there were games, crafts and inflatables for children.

There were even dog agility demonstrations by Frome Dog Agility Training Club and archery by Aim on the Plain Ltd.

Other activities included beat the goalie on the muga, supported by Frome Town Robins, and meeting the horses and the animals.

There was homemade cakes and refreshments, and a BBQ and bar sponsored by Twisted Brewing Ltd in Westbury, Lilley’s Cider & Ruby Red Wines from Bradford on Avon.

The college were supported by external stallholders, including West Wilts Bee Keepers, as well as student stalls, where they showed their work.

The Friends of Fairfield parent group supported them with a raffle and soft toy tombola.

Debbie Hughes, charity fundraising manager said: "We had fantastic weather and the event was well supported to help raise funds for our new Indoor Horse Arena Project.
