COURT: A convicted thief who was banned from every shop in Swindon has been jailed for two weeks.
Billy-Joe Cosgrave, 21, from Essex Walk in Walcot, was sent to prison for two weeks by Swindon magistrates for failing to comply with a post-sentence supervision order.
Earlier in July he admitted a string of thefts from central Swindon stores that saw him banned by the magistrates from every shop in town before they sentenced him.
COURT: A teenager who pleaded guilty to trying to film someone without their consent has been given a community order by Swindon magistrates.
Connor Nevison, 18, of Rainham Road, admitted attempting to record another person in what court documents call “a private act” at New College in Swindon for his own sexual gratification.
He was ordered to attend meetings with a court- appointed officer or to participate in rehabilitation activities as required by that officer. He had to pay a victim surcharge of £85.
