Police are appealing for information following an assault in Marlborough High Street which left a man with head injuries.
The incident which happened near to the Joules and Sea Salt stores at 1am on Sunday 2 September lead to a 34-year-old man being taken to the Great Western Hospital to be treated for head and leg injuries.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 26-year-old man, also from Marlborough, on suspicion of assault. He has since been released under investigation.
Det Con Craig Rathbone, of Swindon CID, said: “Although one arrest has already been made, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.”
