The first recital in the seventh series of Brilliant Young International Musicians in St Peter’s Church will be given by Portuguese musician, Maria Inês Costa, on October 21 at 7.30pm.
The performer was born in Oporto and has recently graduated with B.Mus (Hons) at the Royal College of Music, now studying Piano Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Miss Inês Costa has been highly recommended by her professor, Charles Own, a St Peter’s Church graduate.
Her programme during the performance includes Fantasy in C Minor by W.A. Mozart, Arpa Eolea by C. Carneyro, and 7 Fantasien, OP. 116 by J. Brahms.
Tickets are £10 and available from White Horse Bookshop or Sound Knowledge, Marlborough. For members of St Peter’s Trust, the tickets are £8. Admission is free to anybody still in school.
