COMEDIAN Ross Noble brings his new show El Hablador to Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre next week, with performances on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Who is El Hablador, you may ask. It’s Ross Noble.

No, but who is the one they call El Hablador? I just said, it is Ross Noble. The comedian with long hair does stand up where he dances about the stage, spinning out all the nonsense in his head into a show.

But what is the legend of El Hablador? I don’t think it’s a thing. It’s clearly Ross coming up with a name for his show, so he can make out like he is some sort of mysterious shadowy figure - though at some point, he may wander into a shadowy part of the stage and look a bit shadowy.

Ross rose to mainstream popularity after appearances on television, particularly interviews and on panel shows such as Have I Got News for You. He has won many awards, including a Time Out award winner in 2000 for his Edinburgh Festival Fringe show. He makes regular contributions to BBC Radio 4's Just a Minute and has also appeared on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue

El Hablador is suitable for people aged 15 plus. Tickets cost £28.50. To book, call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
